2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 larsga (4435) - Oslo, - OCT 28, 2009
Small pinkish white head. Deep red body. Yoghurty cherry aroma with marzipan notes. Sweet-dry metallic yoghurty cherry taste, a bit artificial, with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry wooden marzipan cherry aftertaste. Decent, but no more. (0.33l draft, The Office Pub, St. Petersburg.)
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 bdunhill (66) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 13, 2012
The expectation would be that a cherry beer would be overflowing with aroma and flavor but suprisingly this was plain and bland.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 omega (122) - NEW ZEALAND - FEB 11, 2012
To me a drier astringent kriek (on a kriek scale) with a slightly bitter after taste. Not overly cherry flavoured and falls on a hole in the mid-palate where not much happens.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 lusikka (2062) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 31, 2012
250 ml bottle.
Pours a red colour a small foamy head on the edges. Aroma of cherries with some stuffy perfume-like notes. Flavour of sweet, artificial cherries and some light sourness. Light bodied with a slightly dry finish. Artificial sweeteners leave a bad taste. Inferior to Lindemans Kriek.

On tap @ the Top-Off, Camp As Sayliyah, Doha Qatar. Crystal clear ruby red beer with a cherry and wood aroma. Light bitter, mellow without the overly sweet taste I was expecting. Very nice mild cherry taste. An ok kriek outside of Belgium.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 scanovajr (557) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - DEC 25, 2011
Bottled. A deep red beer with a creamy beige head. Strong aroma of cherries. Taste is sweet and sour. Dry and woody finish. Too sweet
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jackl (389) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2011
Pours a translucent deep red color. Very fizzy head with red highlights. The nose is very sweet, of cherries. There’s an artificial, chemical-like note on the nose that isn’t very attractive. The taste is sweet, one-note. This has a light body that’s watery, not too challenging. This beer has very lively carbonation. Too sweet for my liking, boring.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Finn (2470) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2011
Fra fat på Le Roy d’Espagne i Brussel 6 Mai 11. Rød. Lyserødt skum som varer en stund. Behagelig kirsebærpreg gjennom det hele. Passe søt. En god kriek.
