25cl bottle.
pours reddish, light pink head.
aroma light cherries, sugary, and a litle on the sour side.
taste, cherry, was getting a little extra tartness compared to the extra version, still the beer remained on teh sweet side.
Easy to drink, not the best kriek out there.
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hughie (3992) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2005
In general I don’t like non-beer flavours, however this was quite drinkable. It looked like a coke with a frothy pale pink head, but the aroma was attractive. I found the taste quite complex: there was fruity sourness and sweetness with just a hint of bitterness in the background.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 presario (3977) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 29, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2003 My first lambic. Could say I popped my cherry, literally! with a kriek. White bubbles that quickly dispersed. A strong winy cherry aroma that tempted me to sip. Strong cherry flavour. Is it beer or a tempting cooler? Oak and very smoky aftertaste. The smoke lingers a long while. Thicker and more complex than I had expected. Not as sweet either. I really enjoyed the smokiness of each sip. Not an everyday drink, but perhaps more than once a month. I look forward to trying some variety in this style.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheBeerGod (3960) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - FEB 28, 2003
Pours a reddish brown mix with a whitish red head. The smell is of black or maraschino cherries. The taste is a little tart and strongly reminescent of cherries but is not as potent as I was hoping. Finishes well with slight tartness but seemed to be lacking an edge.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 PorterPounder (3944) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2005
Calandro’s Supermarket, Baton Rouge, La. 375 ml bottle. Pours a murky orangeish, brown with a bit of a cranberry tint to it - little to no head. Aroma has a hint of musty cheese, and some sour cherries. Flavor does not have much of that sour acidic taste and mouthfeel that I desire when I drink a lambic. Detect some sour cheries, but very muted. Finishes with a metallic clink. Dissapointed to say the least.

I agree with below that it is more soda-pop than beer; nothing I wouldn’t expect from Interbrew. I’m going to feed it to the wife...

(on draught at Belgian Beer Café Belle Vue, Kiev, Ukraine)
Cherry red. Light pink head. Cherry compot aroma, with notes of vanilla. Sourish flavor that overpowers the cherry feel. Some alchol presence.
