2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jgb9348 (3371) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 24, 2004
Cloudy burgundy-brown coloured body with a thin pinkish head. Aroma of cherries, malt, tartness and some sweetness. Medium-bodied; Mild tart flavour with hardly any tartness and barely any malt quality. Aftertaste not too pleasing-actually mild compared to a normal lambic. Overall, I'd much rather have a liefman's or lindeman's, but this was available on tap...so I figured i'd try it. I had a pint of this on draught at a small pub in Toronto, Ontario on 09-April-2004.

Beer 11 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 7/1/06 in from a can on the train between Paris and Brussels. This is an extremely sweet commercial Kriek which contains 8.5% fruit juice. It is light and refreshing but almost too sweet.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Pailhead (3326) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - AUG 22, 2006
Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. aroma of sweet cherries, vinegar, mustiness, and light cork. Pours a transparent mahogany with a minimal pink ring for a head. Weak sugary cherry flavor with a hint of cork in the finish. Light vinegar in the background. Overall a weak flavored lambic and what is there is not all that great. One of the worst lambics I’ve had.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (3294) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 8, 2004
Bottle – Poured a medium reddish brew with a nice foamy head with good retention. Aroma of cheery is extremely dominant. Body is medium with good carbonation. Taste is very accentuated by cherry with some tannic on the background. The cherry taste might be a tad too juicy for my own taste. This beer lack a bit of the sourness usually founded in lambic but overall this is still a very good beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 drewbeerme (3262) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2007
1994 bottle at the kulminator. pours ruby with small white head. nose of a cherry syrup quality (wonder why?) and some toffee. flavor is light chocolate covered syrupy cherry flavor. not sour, not acidic, not a lambic. but with age it’s actually pleasent and not too sweet. mouth feel is watery, palate is way too short. better than i thought it would be but at only 2euro i had to try it.

On tap @ the Top-Off, Camp As Sayliyah, Doha Qatar. Crystal clear ruby red beer with a cherry and wood aroma. Light bitter, mellow without the overly sweet taste I was expecting. Very nice mild cherry taste. An ok kriek outside of Belgium.

Bottle and cork labelled 25 and caged. This lambic formed a medium sized ivory head that was frothy with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was uncarbonated and somewhat hazy with a reddish brown hue. The nose was fruity, sweet and cherries. The flavor was sweet, a little acidic, sour, tart, tangy and cherries. The mouthfeel was tingly and this was a medium bodied lambic.
