2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - FEB 28, 2004
Bottled. Deep mahogany colour with lots of red sparkle. Thin islands of head isolated in the middle of the beer. The same jelly-baby notes on the aroma. You’ll have to see silk for a better description. Brought home from Bordeaux. Earlier Rating: 10/4/2003 Total Score: 1.9 Draught, at the De Hems, Soho, London Red body with a pink head. Sweat strawberry aroma. Leads with a sharp red fruit flavour. This beer was hard work, especially by the pint. The palate is long and generous but not for me. Fruit beers are a crime.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bart (2332) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 20, 2005
Rather dark pink-reddish colour, large pink head. Fuity-cherry aroma, somewhat sweet and sour. Full and creamy palate, little sweet. Finish is sour-sweet, enjoyable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheGrandMaster (2308) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 23, 2005
Poured from the bottle into proper glass. Ruby red colour with full head. Aroma is yeasty compared to the Framboise, and taste is more lambic-like.

Red color. Pretty thick white head which lasts quite a while. Smell sweet and a little sour. Taste is mainly sweet, little hints of red fruit, little sourness. Not the worst kriek I’ve ever had.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 gunnar (2279) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 21, 2010

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 rederic (2269) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 26, 2005
Copper-red hue, with a pink foamy head. Sweet cherries even shade of raspberries with shy oaky note lambic in the aromas, follow a medium-bodied of sweet cheery note in the palate with a mild tartness and a shy acidity on the finish. A mild kriek lambic for the none-initiated

Artificial and extremely sweet. A classic low quality fruit beer. Too much is sickening. Earlier Rating: 9/8/2002 Total Score: 3.1 A litlle too ordinary. The palate has’nt got the nice marzipan-alike-taste, which I enjoy very much.

Sampled from can at Belgian Embassy in DC. Pours a dark red with a pink head. Aroma is cherry. Flavor is sweet, cherry with a touch of tart cherries. It’s good, but I can imagine that it would be impossible to drink more than one at a sitting.
