3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 armando629 (1939) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 27, 2008
What a coinsidance. I’ve bought that beer on the same day without any discussion with ogreface. Let’s taste it! Beautiful ruby color with a nice delicate pink head. The aroma is a little sour cherry and a little barnyard. In the taste dominates the sour cherry flavour with a good&mild tartness and acidity. Nice sour afertaste. That beer was a good surprise for me(from a mass producer InBev)...

Bottle, purchased in convenience store in Brussels! Dark, clear red with amber tinges and a foamy pinkish beige head. Dominant cherry aroma and sweet like a cherry cream candy. Sweet cherry malt flavors with some spiciness and hints of hoppiness in the finish. Smooth, creamy body. Underwhelming.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 joet (1851) - Fulton, California, USA - JUN 4, 2002
A big foamy head, a nice mix of tart and sweet cherry flavors with a substantial old beer back. Not as crisp as the more available fruit lambics. Great with our light snack of bruschetta, fresh fruit and mild cheeses.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Vaiz (1847) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2010
Bottle at home. Hazy deep purple to red color with a thin creamy white head. Aroma is cherries, hay and some faint wild yeast. Flavor is sweet, sour and bitter in quite a nice balance. Slightly bitter finish. Lively carbonation and a watery texture. Better than expected actually.
