4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 edden (927) - cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 24, 2003
1/24/03: bottle. nice full rocky head, which is a white- pink blush color. head diminishes to a strong medium size with lots of healthy lacing. heavenly aroma with whiffs of fermented cherries. sensational deep rosè color. a tiny bit of sweet which immediately turns into a tart and sour cherry flavor. more of a mature taste than Lindemans and in my opinion a better quality lambic.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 tomer (923) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 13, 2011
Draught sample, very little head, served a bit too warm, clear red colour, aroma of cherries, pits and a whiff of spice, sweet cherry fruitiness and a very light tartness and something coarse, maybee from the pits, sweet fruity candy aftertaste, Another industrial artificial tasting fruit lambic.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Crockett (916) - Steelback County, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2004
Red with a big fluffy pink head. Spicey fruit aroma. Sour with cherry tartness. Musty wood/earthy background. Has good qualities that are upstaged by too much sugar.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 steview (904) - San Francisco, California, USA - NOV 30, 2006
cherry, cheese aroma; quiet yet very fizzy mouthfeel; sweet, slightly tart; big, tightly beaded head; a filling liquid cherry bread! pretty strong, but not much to this...
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 scotty (889) - SCOTLAND - FEB 26, 2005
Clean, deep pink, with a steady bead. The pale pink head lasts quite well.Clean, fresh cherry aroma(funnily enough)there is a slightly harsh acidic prickle at the end. Palate is fresh fruity with a bitter edge (again, cherry, but quite light really) There is a refreshing acidic/sour character that reminds me of Rodenbachs sour beers. This is lovely stuff, but I have heard that Belle-vue use fruit concentrate rather than whole fruit, is this true??? Either way, I really enjoyed it.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cirrhosis (887) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 2, 2009
The beer pours a dark ruby red with a slight brown tinge, the head was quit large and had a pink / tan color. The aroma was powerful at first of sweet and sour cherries, but when the head started to desipear the sent was much harder to pick up. The smell had a detergent or bathroom airfreshener quality about it, this aspect of the aroma put me off a little. The beer had a very dry mouth feel, and tasted like Sour Cherry Blaster chewy candy and that’s about all I can taste , the beer is very one dimensional. I tried hard to like this brew because I thought I would, but it just doesn’t work for me plus every once in a while I’ll get it on tap and every time I do that I wake up with a ax splitting head ache I think due to the high sugar content.
