Re rate: still sweet like i remember, i’d like to taste more sourness, nice fruit flavour (Cherry), but to sweet like i said . Original ratings: way too sweet and not enough sour, definitely not up there with the best lambic beers.

Tap @ Popeye’s: Ruby red, light pink head, nose of full fruit and light tartness. Some chewy vanilla and light sweet cherry notes in the tail. Sweet, lacking the choice tart balance that are key in the great lambics.

Strong cherry aroma, reminds me of lifesavers. Not super sweet. Still not to my tastes but ok.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cornfield (5239) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAY 5, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2005 Bottle: This pours a deep ruby red with a tall, well-sustained head. The aroma is sweet cherries and a tartness that stems not from the fruit, but from the wheat. The medium bodied drink has a very fruity taste to it with the tart cherry and mild bitter flavors coming through in the finish. A tasty, fun drink.
