A very good beer. If you like sweet cherries with a hint of sour than this beer is for you. A blood red colour with an incredible head that lasts long. Served in a 9oz glass similar to a scotch sifter.

Very flavorful for a fruit beer. It has a nice cherry flavor but you can still tell it is a beer. It has a medium red color. Just cant drink too many at one time.

Pours a clear reddish amber in the glass. Nose and taste of cherry and not much else. I rated this a long time ago before I really got into lambics, so I was way too kind to it. I’d probably rate this closer to a 3.3 today. I need to re rate. Rated 2/8/2000

Poured with a rich light red colour and a carbonated pink head; thought I’d opened up a champagne. Aroma is mildly cherry, and taste is also of cherries, but not overly sweet. Crisp, clean tasting.

A typical Belgian style... Very fruity, but also enough taste of acid. Its colour is pure red, and its glasse is made to stress it... Just try it... May be good to know: beer requires a lot of care during the ’fabrication’ of it. A Kriek and Gueuze needs perhaps more...

Corked bottle. Deep glowing red color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is sour cherries and sweet cherries. A medium bodied kriek. Tart and sour cherries flavors predominate. Light carbonation. Touch of candi sugar and peppermint at the finish. Sour cherries flavors is consistent throughout the beer. Very enjoyable drinking kriek. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Nice long lasting head, ruby red color to the beer. This has a nice cherry flavor, but I found it nearly indistinguishable from La Becasse. Are they the same (Interbrew)? Nice on tap, perhaps someday I’ll rate the bottled version.
