Sweeter than what a proper lambic should be, but a single glass is enjoyable. Nice cherry aroma and colour.

Dark amber bordering on brown. Tight, white head is large and lasting, leaving behind full sheets of lacing. Sour cherry aroma has hints of oak. Flavor is not strong of cherries, surprisingly. The fruity sourness is there, but comes off as slightly artificial and medicinal. Bitter woody finish is a little off. Not overly carbonated, which is nice. Still, I've had better lambics.

Had ont tap, bottle and can???? best out of bottle, but is still a tad to sweet for my liking.

Hovering in between sweet and dry. Cherries are well presented, but rather lifeless in other aspects including carbonation. After developing an appreciation for the sourness and "funk" found in others it’s harder to get excited about this one. Not a thing really bad about in the least - if that makes sense.

Cherry, apple that makes a aroma-mixture between sweet and sour. Purple head, light sourness, kicks! Syrupy and a long finish. Nice refreshing kriek

Bottled at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Dark red couled. Perfumed nose. Cherry and vinegar. Loads of cherry in the flavour. Vague sourness. Reminds me a little of "hubba bubba" chewing gum. Not bad at all.

Drunk from a 440ml. tumbler. Murky brownish red colour. Virtually non-existant head. Aroma and flavour of an inoffensive, sourish fizzy drink. Goes down nicely with a smooth palate. As pootzboy commented, "I like it so kill me". Suspiciously fake-tasting fruit, though.

BroueNeault (157) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 1, 2003
Ruby red with a thin head. Aroma of cherry and wine. Sweet and sour taste, with the cherry very present. Not a bad kriek, though not the best one...
