Pours a deep ruby red, with a small fizzy pink head. Flavor is tart before it warms up to the proper temperature. After sitting for awhile, the flavors really come out, syrupy sugary sweet, that reminds me of those little cherry candies you get around the holidays from Hickory Farms. Very tasty and easy to drink.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - MAR 13, 2004
Bottle and cork labelled 25 and caged. This lambic formed a medium sized ivory head that was frothy with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was uncarbonated and somewhat hazy with a reddish brown hue. The nose was fruity, sweet and cherries. The flavor was sweet, a little acidic, sour, tart, tangy and cherries. The mouthfeel was tingly and this was a medium bodied lambic.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dredd (562) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - APR 17, 2008
Cherry/Raspberry rock-candy aroma, pours lurid red with a pink foamy head that leaves nice lacing.
Flavour is a hoot, sour cherry all the way with a slight tapering at the end to a slight sweetness
Nice, but certainly not a sessional beer.

Deep ruby beer with a short lived white head that leaves some lacing. Very candy-like cherry aroma. Flavour is more interesting, with some hops to give a somewhat dry finish to the sweet cherry.

Deep garnet in color.
Not much head to it, and a few old yeast clumpies.
Nose is oddly in balance for a lambic--must, yeast and tart cherry versus malt and hay.
Body is oily and the taste is again oddly indifferent for what should be an aggressive style.

Tap. Bitter side, but not overly sour. For cherries, its a good deal. But I’m rarely in the mood for cherries in beer. Maybe like twice a year.

Very nice ruby body with a pink bubbly head. Pleasant aroma of real cherries with some hints of balsamic vinegar and oak. Mouthfeel starts with a quite carbonated attack. Then comes some fruity flavors and a paperish dry final that lacks some punch and lenght. There are plenty of better Krieks...

Bottle sample- Pours a light pink head, with a dark ruby red body. Smells like sour cherries and sugar. Taste is bitter, fruity and refreshing. Nice sharp bite on the tongue and throat. A definite pleaser.
