3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Wacher (129) - Århus C, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2004

375ml green champagne style bottle w/ cork. Pours clear red, with a smooth pink tinged head. Large cherry aroma. Tart and sour, notes of salt (?) and wood.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Doppelganger (1383) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Bottle, from Noel Cuveliers, Abele. Ruby pour with fine just-pink head. Lightly tart cherry jam aroma, angel food cake. Softly tart wooly bite, cherry candy, sweet but not overbearing.
I can’t hate beer like this, much as I would like to. It’s not a work of genius, and yes, it’s an insult to the subtle beauty of a proper lambic. But...it’s kinda fun. It’s like the Burger King® of the beer world: not really food, but resembles food in a way that is itself kind of interesting.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DerWeg (1251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 31, 2007
A trade-off between authentic Lambic sharpness/mustiness, and the super clean watery-sweet stuff Mort Subite is pumping out of the factory spigot. Not bad and not great.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lgklotet (432) - Singapore, SINGAPORE - JUL 24, 2006
Bottle. Clear red, pink head. Sour-sweet aroma, cherry dominated. Quite tart palate; Flavour, again, is cherry-dominated. Not very complex, lacking in lambic character.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thewolf (8245) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2007
Bottle. Clear red with a fine creamy pink head. Aroma has loads of cherries in a bubblegum kind of way. Oily mouthfeel. Slightly sour with a woodyness adding to the cherries. Ends a touch too quickly.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RaphaelN (195) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2008
On tap at the Esplanade Bier Markt. Red pour with an off-white head. Nose was acidic and blooming with cherries. Taste took on an odd red-wine quality with a mix of dry vermouth, and plenty of cherries to boot. This was not as well made as I was expecting. Nonetheless, I do love Krieks.
