3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 EKGoldings (487) - Radford, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2003
I found this one simple and one dimensional. Like adding cherry cough medicine and lactic acid to a budlight. The complex flavors in a good lambic are absent and the cherry taste was cloying.

Corked labeled 25 and caged, this brew poured a large head of foamy very finely sized off-white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a excellent spider web lace. The body was semi-opaque hazy and dark brown colored. The aroma is all cherries and malt. The mouth feel is tingly and smooth like a wine cooler. The flavor contains dark cherries and malt. A nice brew, but I still prefer the Lindemans.

Bottle, purchased in convenience store in Brussels! Dark, clear red with amber tinges and a foamy pinkish beige head. Dominant cherry aroma and sweet like a cherry cream candy. Sweet cherry malt flavors with some spiciness and hints of hoppiness in the finish. Smooth, creamy body. Underwhelming.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Choos (507) - Taylors Hill, AUSTRALIA - SEP 22, 2004
Aroma: slightly lagery like a pilsener (that remained right through the drink) with generous amounts of medicinal cherry. Appearance: dark clear red with a slightly off white head. Flavour: none of the pilsener flavours but quite sweet/sour cherry flavours with a touch of nuttiness.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 JagerQueen (123) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2004
Pours a rich red brown color with a hearty cherry aroma. Tart flavor when chilled, but turns more fruity and sweet as it warms. Warms the mouth with cherry flavor, with a subtle tart aftertaste. Good, not great, but good.

Sample at Tasting Panel #1. Small format bottle. Pours a reddish brown colour with a large cherry head with nice lacing. Aroma strong on cherry and red fruits. Flavour is a little timid, sweet, cherries, slight maltiness. This was an aged bottle that was probably better suited to being consumed while fresh.

[Shared with svoger in Præstø, 2005.] After 100 km on bike this was my saving. Although it is "fabriksfremstillet og standset ud i plast" it was ok in the heat. I don’t like the marcipan flavor and it could be more oude in its character!

Tasted out of bottle in a Lambic Goblet. Popping the cork revealed a cherry, sweet aroma, which developed when poured. In the glass it was most impressive, with a brown, burgundy-red body and an off-pink head that lasted to the bottom. Flavour was of an immature berry wine mixed with tonic water, not discrediting, but undemanding. Cherries dominated with little lactic Lambic flavours or sour balances. A good brew, for young connisseurs.
