Bubbly and sweet with a sherbert taste. Farily disappointing.

Dark blood-red colour. Small pink head. Sweet cherry aroma with notes of sour apples and dark chocolate. Quite sweet and one-dimensional flavour of cherries. Some sour notes in finish.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Walt (2448) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 26, 2005
2002: Pour is mahoghany with a thin white head...smell is funky with sourness and nice warm cherry...taste is not nearly so sour as the smell...lifeless and sweet cherry...bland and mediocre at best...
2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 JonR888710 (999) - Cochabamba, BOLIVIA - MAY 22, 2004
Ruby-red, cloudy bottle with a pink, medium-thick head. Smells deliciously of cherries, acid and sugars. Tasty, though watery compared to other examples I’ve had of this style. Of course cherries dominate the palate with a good bit of sweet/sour working the palate. Not bad, not great, really more of a macrobrewed dessert beer. Sampled on tap in Toronto, CA

This beer really looks the part, with a great red colour to let you know what is instore for the drinker. Really falls down after that with a too-sweet aroma of cherry, and a "flavouring" sort of taste. Give it a miss, and try to findsomething from another lambic brewer.

cherry, cheese aroma; quiet yet very fizzy mouthfeel; sweet, slightly tart; big, tightly beaded head; a filling liquid cherry bread! pretty strong, but not much to this...

Can, at home.
Dark red with red head, fully diminishing. Aroma is sweet and powerful of cherries. Flavor sweet with notes of cherries, and a dry woody finish. Light, watery body, lively carbonated. Good kriek.
