joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 3, 2007 Draught.
Hazy red coloured with an orange gleam and no head.
Aroma of fruits and berries.
Flavour of fruits and berries with light acidic notes. oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Jun 5, 2007 Draught. Pinkish red colour, not much head. Aroma is cherries and sourness. Flavour is the same along with some strawberries and some interesting bitterness. Feels artificial, and like meandsim said more strawberry than cherries... duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 15, 2007 Draught@The Weekend of Fermentation. This was pretty tasty stuff. Nice grapefruity flavours, like pink grapefruit. Got a nice hint of strawberry in here, even though its made with cherry. Very drinkable. Surprisingly nice. fonefan (4850), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Draught @ 17th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Clear medium red color with a virtually none appearance, virtually none lancing head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy cherry sourness, cask wood, oak. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy acidic - sour with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Pink-peach colour, fully hazy; just a rim of bubbles. No fruit in the nose whatsoever. Maybe a touch of rhubarb - and some lemon/wood. This tastes nice. Of peaches, maybe. Of soft lactic acid, and of a mild lambic. Just NOTHING of cherries. What’s this supposed to be? Medium bodied, more for a lambic, but not with the filling of fruit. I cannot follow. I’ve had BV kriekenlambic that just exploded with sour cherries. This - this is some educated (exception made for the funkiness, then)ladiesdrink. A good one, but all the same...
