Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, GregClow, Blankboy, Mabel, and Jerc, courtesy of Jer and Mabel. Fiery yellow, small white head - that might be the most amazing shade of yellow I have seen in a beer. Pretty pungent acidic and sour aroma - my nostrils are still thanking me. Amazing taste -s o pungently sour, so acidic, so complex. I’ll give up trying to explain it further - this beer aged incredibly well and is one of the best lambics, aged at that, that i will ever try. Thank you thank you thank you Jerc and Mabel for sharing this one!!!

Oct 7, 2008 1999 Bottle, EBF. Hazy golden, no head. Nicely cellary, tart aroma, rotten apple, berries and little mead. Sweetish and tart, very fruity flavor. Citric fruits, apple juice, little cellar. Nice and crisp tart finish. Amazing, very stylish ageing.

Sep 24, 2008 1999 bottle with reakt and renffisch at Plan B, Copenhagen. Thanks! Sweet yet honeyed aroma. Honey amber colour with a delightful peachy sourness in teh mouth. Great palate too.

Sep 20, 2008 1999 bottle, 5.2%. Yeasty and funky aroma, good citricness. Cloudy orange colour, no head. Good sour flavour, slightly funky. Quite vinegary, dry finish.

Sep 20, 2008 My Rating # 2100. 75cl bottle. Pours unclear golden with a small head & lacings. Nose is dry, tart, vinegar & leather. Woody & crisp. Oily & sticky palate. Fruity taste - some orange, tartness & lovely oakyness. Just as good as hoped for. Thanks to the guys at Plan B!

Sep 15, 2008 Bottle from PlanB @ European Beerfistival. Pours a hazy orange with no head. Sour and bitter. Some vinegar aromas. Very harsh and bitter finish. Hint of mint /toothpaste. Mellow carboantion. Tart finish.
