duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 5, 2004 Bottle-bottled 1999. One of the best balanced gueuze-lambics i’ve had. This is sour, but not overly so. The nose was what you expect, some smelly barnyard aromas, cheese and wood. The palate was soft, yet assertive at the same time, and managed to get the balance of sourness just right, very long lasting flavour, the flavour just kept going and going. Really juicy palate aswell, nice and dry, with some lemony and acidity. I just wanted more and more after every sip......... it really is a shame they don’t do this beer anymore, its a shame.
