Great fruit hoppy forward beer with Belgian influence. Awesome carbonation with a nice tight foam head. Very sessionable at 6.5% ABV. Drink again anytime.

Bottled, from Bootegger, Paris. Clear golden, lively head. Perfumy nose with pear, pineapple and grapefruit. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Juicy citrus, slight yeasty marzipan. Fairly well hopped with citric hops, matching a clean, fruity malt base. Mid bitter finish.

Pours clear gold with three fingers of white head. Belgian yeast, citrus and spice. Tasty but not all that interesting.

Big foamy head over clear gold body. Aroma of Orange zest, coriander, clover, anise, pepper. Taste of wheat and a touch of caramel, pepper, herbs. Surprisingly bitter considering the aroma. Shortish finish. Medium to high carbonation.

On tap at Exmouth Arms Finsbury. Clear gold thin lasting white head. Belgian yeast bubblegum aroma. Bubblegum in mouth weird. I was expecting a straight up blonde biere de garde. This is too much bubble gum. Nothing wrong with the beer but esters are out there man

My Bottom Line:
Light hay, tropical fruit and dandelion-like floral suggestions roam within this quenching, elegant countryside brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam covers the cloudy pale blond.
-Tropical fruit notes are near starfruit and lychee at times.
-Drinkability is quite high due to the leanness of the body and the delicate flavor profile.
-Effervescence and subtle depths make for an elegant end product.

Bottle.

Appearance: clear coppery pour with a thick white head; pours much dirtier on the second go ’round. Aroma: citrusy and yeasty, almost like a tripel, with a bit of funk and and white pepper. Taste: some honeyed cereal grains, grassy hops, a hint of metal and aspirin, whole peppercorns, and slightly floral hops. Finish: dry like champagne, with a lingering herbal bitterness. Notes: Not a bad dirty blonde. Drinkable palate, if slightly forgettable flavors. Hops were not prominent, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

Bottle. Golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - light wheat and sweetish aroma, fruitiness and some caramel, light citrus - herbal hoppyness, light yeast. Body is medium, malty - light wheat and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some fruitiness, light citrus - herbal hoppyness, light yeast. Finish is average, malty - light wheat and lightly sweetish, light caramel and some fruitiness, some citrus - herbal hoppyness, light yeast and faint alcohol. OK Belgian ale. Not too sweet and bitterness is present in flavor/finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 31/05/14, from Alko Arkadia, 20130130) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had Belgian style yeast, dry pine needles and dust. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. A decent hoppy Blond. Aroma was weird.
