Straight down the middle Blonde that’s very enjoyable. Hop flavour upfront which gives a passing bitterness that is quickly rounded off by a sweet honey finish. Well balanced and great with food.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of floral hops, light spices, hay and some bread. An ok one.

Bottle at John's in France. Clear orange-golden pour. Aroma is yeasty Belgian and apple juice. Taste is not as hoppy as hoped for. Tastes more like a full bodied lighter Belgian ale. Not bad but nothing special.

Pungent litchi aroma, also very present in the taste - a bit too much, destroying all around it, although you can taste a bit of berries in the back. More on the side of IPA than bière de Garde. The palate is fizzy and very nice. A bit of foam with nice laces. In globality a refreshing one, balanced. Would like to try it on tap.

@Auchan Louvroil. Sympa.

Bottled. Pours clear golden with a small, lacing and white head. Aroma of yeat, fruity notes and a lillle spice. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and with a hint of bitterness.Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation a nice Blonde.

33cl bottle: BBD 28th Feb 2016. Poured into a ’Chimay’ chalice on 24th Sep 2014. A present from my son. Looks good, golden, clear, bright and clean, on top a full and deep white foaming head: the head stayed for a while before retreating to a thin wisp and collar. Blind tasting and I would swear this was Belgian such is the yeastiness and feel to both the aroma and taste. Hoppy, yet semi-sweet with a hidden maltiness, mild traces of citrus fruits but not enough to give a lemon or grapefruit flavour, just a mini hint within the taste. Interesting and pleasant, very pleasant.

Yellow, white head with lacing. Hoppy and peppery (pink peppercorn) aroma. Orange blossom, litchi. Surprising. Don’t know if blond ale is the best fit.
