Bottle. Yellow with a small head. Quite a full bodied flavour at first but this soon weakens to be replaced by a slightly flowery more weaker flavour.Left a lot of lacing. Not very impressive.

Iets troebel goudkleurig. Witte kraag. Verrassend bier met zachte fruitige limoen smak en rozenblaadjes. Zachte carbo.

Pours golden with a decent white head that lasts. Aroma of lemon, banana and yeast. It’s smooth, you can taste the Belgian yeast in a banana/orange combo with a hint of biscuit. Not much bitterness.

Given that this beer is ABV 6.5% and is a very large champagne type bottle what’s not to like? So I’ve left it a couple of days to allow sober reflection. A nice drinkable Belgian blonde ale. Didn’t get the "three continents of hops". This is not the knome! However it is the Belgium style yeast that gives the spicey fruity charaxter which I am gaining in appreciation.

12oz bottle poured into a high ball glass. The aroma has a honey sweetness and a dry spice to it with undertones or oranges and toast as well as a bit of a waxy crayon. There’s a hint of banana and clove on the nose late. It’s a clear, pale - gold color with a filmy thin white head that has only light levels of retention and lace. The flavor is a medium bittersweet. The texture is oily, and a bit thick with a zippy, light carbonation. The medium body is spicy with notes of herbs, honey and/or bitter marmalade and toast. It finishes crisp with clove and bitter lemon notes as well as a notable crayon. The aftertaste is lightly cloying with herb, bread crust, and citric acid. Overall, specifically in the finish and aftertaste, it’s not too dissimilar to a mild, floral IPA.
