3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A soft, flavourful blonde. Said the drinker to the logo. The name is apt, I could swear it even had a bit of a rosewater taste... could be psychosomatic, should do a blind taste test to make sure, but screw that it’s too expensive. Lots of pear in the citrus aroma, quite sweet, if only brewpubs made their blondes like this, I’d warm to the style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 bottle from CountyWide. Clear golden orange with lasting head and lace. Bready yeasty aroma with a hint of tartness and maybe some noble hops or saaz. Fairly sweet fruity honey peach with mildly assertive earthy herbal bitterness and lingering sweetness. Nice medium-light palate. Pretty good, but I was told it was a Belgian IPA by the distributor (not the retailer), and it’s not.
Addendum: I see people below have noticed almond/marzipan, and I agree.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thru the Rare Beer Club; pours clear pale golden with bright white head that fades to a reasonable ring. Nose is grains, honey malts, mild citrus, graham cracker and bread. Tripel esque. More of the same on the palate. Short finish. Interesting Blonde.

Bottled, from Bootegger, Paris. Clear golden, lively head. Perfumy nose with pear, pineapple and grapefruit. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Juicy citrus, slight yeasty marzipan. Fairly well hopped with citric hops, matching a clean, fruity malt base. Mid bitter finish.

Pours clear gold with three fingers of white head. Belgian yeast, citrus and spice. Tasty but not all that interesting.
