Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy blonde beer with strong malt and spicy hops on the palate followed by cinnamon? and ginger? on the palate.

Lemons and ginger. I like one in stuff with coke, the other in food that often involves noodles. Oh, and calamari with one is splendid. Neither go well with Charlotte Church. In fairness, nothing probably does. Incidentally, fuck the NRA.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks avrashi. Slightly hazy golden. Fruity aroma with some yeast, sourish notes and a citric hint. Sweetish fruity flavor with some yeast and a slightly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not great.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2012 330 ml bottle. Pours gold with light persistent head. Aromas of yeast, banana, citrus, and light spice. Belgian saison like flavors but with more pronounced dried apricot and malt notes. Very nice.

Deep blond color; medium sized common head. Some aroma of malt and hop, perfumy, with a hint of spice. Dry and smooth mouthfeel, some malt flavor, correct bitterness.
Simple but correctly brewed.

Sweet with low carbonation. Spicy and sugary with an orange hue with some citrus. Nothing great.

75 cl bottle from fancy mini-Monoprix in the 7th with funny name (Comptoir de something...). Won gold medal at Agricole Fair 2012. Smells like perfumy hops with a slight hint of Alsatian wet cardboard. Usually French beers can’t figure out the hops smell. It’s beer colored. The taste is almost very good at first, like a Belgium beer. But then there’s a weird aftertaste. A good showing for a French beer. Bravo, my normally incompetent French friends!

Bottle. Gold, white head that fades to a coat, lots of floating bits. Aroma is doughy with oranges, flowers and spices. Fruity but not all that sweet with oranges and some lemon. Doughy, vanilla, clove, pepper. Dry finish with decent bitterness. Nice balance.

Bottle at JF’s (from Hogsback shop) 28/10/12. Slightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head. Carbonation evident. Nose of Belgian yeasts, hops, floral tones. Taste follows, a little brett and funk, citrus tones. Medium bodied wiht spritzy carbonation leading to a dry and bitter finish. Drinkable drop and better than I’d anticipated!

Lemon and ginger, well a bit anyway. I do like a bit of lemon and ginger. When the wheels of fortune spin in different directions you should think of the goats that smile as you drive by. Nothing to see here *whistles*
