Bottle 33cl.
Light unclear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, raisin, light burnt, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (130608)

Bottled. A dark nut-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with ntoes of malt, caramel, and roasted malt, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Mild roasted malt and light spiced. Flavour is roasted malt with nice chocolate smoothness apparently taking out the acidic note from the roasted malt. Mild bitterness into a dry finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malt and vanilla. Rather malt bitter finish. Lovely - but mostly reminds me of a Stout. 130608

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Ambery brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is dark dry fruits, some toffee, mild roasted notes as well as quite wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some toffee, roasted notes, mild metal as well as wood and some caramel. Actually old ale is a quite good categorization for this Belgian beer...

Bottle. Clear orange red coloured with a creamy beige head. Yeasty aroma of caramel, spices, fruits and liquorice. Flavour of fruits, spices and liquorice with notes of yeast and roasted notes. Dry spicy and roasted finish.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Roasted malty caramel flavor with some hints of coffee. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Bottle, 6.3%. OK aroma of hard roasted malts. Very dark brown colour, red shine, seems clear. Stable tan head. The flavour is mildly roasted, dark malts, hint of fresh-ground coffee. A little paper in the finish.

(33cl bottle, BB 09/11/11) Pours a clear brown body with a spare beige head. Aroma of cola, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, and nuts. Flavor of roasted malt, light smoke, sulfur, and baking cocoa with a dry finish.
