3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2011
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive light brown foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark brown and a light acid taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a caramel touch . This beer smells to roasted malt..

(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber with a ring of tan bubbles. Nose of caramel, floral, and Belgian yeast. Taste of sweet raisins, caramel, dates and figs, very sweet. Creamy finish, Belgian yeast lingers on the palate, but can’t get past how cloying this was.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Martinus (868) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2011
Slightly hazy, brown beer, medium small white head. Aroma quite sweet, candy sugar, malts. Flavour malty and quite sweet, but with some balance. Not my favourite kind of beer, but nicely made and definitely not bad.
(Draught -taster glass- @ the brewery)
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2011
Bottle. An unclear, brown beer topped by a small off-whtie to beige head. Lots of candy on the nose, with a strange fruityness and some paint thinner. but still sort of nice. Sweet, candy-ish falvor with a certain acidity. Medium to full body. Sort of nice, but not very quaffable, and certainly a beer I won’t repeat. 110513
