33 cl. bottle sampled @ Streekbierweekend 2014. thx! for sharing people. Brown amber, little tanned head. Nose is sweet herbs, brown sugar, candy, caramel,.. Taste is herbal, syrup, candy, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits,… Taste is tad syrupy. Largely just sweet, brown sugar. So-so.

The dark one in this range with typically sober label. Thin, milky white, sticky, not too stable head, colour a dark ruby brown, lightly misty. Aroma of nut- and caramel-like, even a bit woody malts, dates, bitter chocolate, grassy hops; taste restricted fruitiness, bit resinous and thin mouthfeel, somewhat cloying finish with only a brief and short hop bitterishness. Lacks the body and complexity to be a truly interesting dubbel.

Bottle from the brewpub. Looks like coca-cola, big bubble cream head. Aroma is yeast driven, some phenols. Choc raisin and prune. Flavour is choc, malt caramel and raisin, belgian yeast. Spritzy carbonation , sweetish finish. Ok stuff. Pretty Tasty.

Tasty dubbel beer. Roasted malt, with a spicey yeasty sweetness. Some notes of cinnamon I think.

Brune acajou, pétillance moyenne, mousse beige. Malts caramel foncés, présence de réglisse, notes fruitées. Une très bonne vieille brune!

Bouteille 33cl, BB 01/2014, lot# 130122.
