3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ACHops (281) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2013
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours light orangish amber with thin head. Aroma is piney spicy hops and a hint of sweet malt. Taste is assertive piney hops with a hint of citrus. Slightly creamy well-balanced malt body. Finishes bitter. Strong but not DIPA level. Impressive job for a first beer. I will return and try more.

This is Bellevue Brewing’s best beer. This IPA starts with the very familiar and expected citrus and grapefruit overtones along with pine, lychee, gooseberry, and a guava-like tropical assertiveness. A very good IIPA (not really an IPA as the brewery designates). Very pleasant aroma and likeable drinkability. This IPA finishes strong with a relatively moderate body.

Big time light fruit and dank hops. Pale malt a little toast and honey. Pours golden amber great head and lace. Fruity citrus and apricot pale malt honey a little caramel. Chewy dank treasonous finish. Goof body and mouthfeel.

Draft at brewery. Copper color and strong citrus and pine aroma. Flavor is straightforward grapefruit hop IPA. Slight caramel malt to balance but the bitterness is a bit too astringent.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BrewDad (4256) - Olympia, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Super amber color, clear with a thin head. The hops and malt aroma was terrific. This was a super tasting IPA. Very pleased and this was the first batch wait until they get even more dialed in.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 after4ever (5280) - Brier, Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head that hangs around for a minute. Big fresh forward tropical fruit nose, like oranges and grapefruits and mangos with a bit of honey. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Oranges, tangerines, mangos, toast, and caramel on the mid palate, with a crisp bitey grapefruit finish. Very balanced and coherent and approachable. This will turn a lot of Bellevue suburbanites on to ale drinking, and please the ones who’ve already been introduced.
