3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours light orangish amber with thin head. Aroma is piney spicy hops and a hint of sweet malt. Taste is assertive piney hops with a hint of citrus. Slightly creamy well-balanced malt body. Finishes bitter. Strong but not DIPA level. Impressive job for a first beer. I will return and try more.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (22oz). Mostly clear amber. Medium head. Kind of sweet. I would call this an average IPA but not on my regular buy list.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light amber, earthy, mushroomy aroma is strong. Chewy, overripe cantaloupe, bland, old hops not bright enough.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Bottleworks, Seattle; bottled 3-17-14
Hazy amber color. A good IPA, with caramel accent, maybe too much; the aroma is also a bot sweaty; the mouthfeel is rather sweet; resiny hops.
Not my number one, but not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops, pine, and a thick caramel malt backing. Flavour brings out lots of resin, some pine, and again, a big caramel malt backing. A little sweet for me, but not cloying. Solid IPA - decently balanced for a sweeter IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate off white head on it. Nose has some intensely floral bitter hop notes to it. Taste is only moderately bitter and seems less than fresh, though ok.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber thanks to michaelinwa. Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a big, soapy head that fades normally and leaves big lacing. Smells like fruity candy and pine with some caramel malt too. Tastes fairly sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Not very fruity like the aroma. Mostly citrus rinds and pine. Malty finish. Medium to thick body with a big foamy carbonation. Pretty good but definitely a little too sweet and more carbonation than I like in my IPA’s.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid IPA. Deep gold with a frothy, lasting head. Clean and fresh nose. Creamy-smooth texture with a snappy finish. Lightly toasted malt flavors with a dough-like sweetness. Balanced bitterness. Hints of herbs, grass, citrus and pine. Easy to drink.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle:   Bright coppery amber, translucent, moderate foamy sandy head, nice lacing.   Citrus peel and pith on the nose, slightly candied.   Soft sweet citrus peel on the tongue, pith isn’t too strong thankfully.   Smooth, but not heavy, fairly clean.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not real strong in terms of bitterness, flavorful, but not over the top.   Soft, clean, approachable by someone wanting a good first sip of a solid example.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Dark golden orange colored in appearance with some beige foam and bubbles on the surface. Mostly grapefruit, pine and tropical fruit in the aroma. The taste is a blend of pineapple, citrus rind and pine resin along with some mint, grassy hops bitterness and caramel malt sweetness around the edges. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation and floral hops bitterness in the finish. Overall, a well crafted IPA with plenty of distinct hops flavors to savor.
