Draft - Roast malts and some chocolate. Jet brown with a rich brown head. Dark roast, chocolate and nice toast. The best they offer.

On tap at Bellevue, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is bland, with notes of toasted malt and light fruitiness. Flavour is decent, with notes of roast, red fruits and light cocoa. Decently balanced and medium bodied. Decent stout.

pours a dark brown with a large creamy tan head, and very good lacing. smell is of come chocolate, some malt, and oats. taste is a little thin, chocolate, malt, oats, and a touch of coffee. not as sour as I would have expected from an oatmeal but still a good brew.

Bottle. Pours a near-black color with a moderate tan head on it. Nose is predominantly roasty with a hint of bitterness, but a subtle molasses sweetness that comes through with some persistence. Taste has a bit of roasty bitterness up front, then finishes with just a bit of some licorice sweetness in there. Not bad until the finish.

Bottle:   Black, cola hues, thin to moderate frothy light beige head, spotty lacing.   Soft sweet roasted malts.   A touch of chocolate and tootsie roll.   Very soft on the tongue, not very roasty, not all that big.   Very light example, but clean and smooth.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes clean, soft roasted malts, smooth, silky, but not really heavy, not too roasty, witih a low hop profile.   I bet a good beginner Oatmeal Stout for those who are getting into beer.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate over treacle. Light treacle. Med + body. Kinda fizzy carb. Flavor is treacle, chocolate, maybe hint of anise, seems to get coffee towards the finish. Fairly smooth. Fills the bill, style wise.

Black body with tan foam. Nutty, chocolate, deep roast aromas. Smooth medium body. Smooth nutty, chocolate flavors with medium roast coffee___good.

Quite nice oatmeal stout. Roasty and semisweet. Cocoa and to a lesser extent java. Surprisingly chewy for its very low ABV of 5.8%. A tad of lingering bitterness. B+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Midnight black with a 1" thick coffee speckled head. Complex roasty nose with sinews of molasses and anise. Similarly, the palate enjoys puffs of roast barley with a stream of molasses and anise a constant undercurrent. Full-bodied and rich, like one desires of an oatmeal stout. A tasty, robust meal in a class.

My first impression was generic stout smell and lots chalky bitter flavor. As itwarms up more chocolate and piney hops come through. Not too nad
