3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jgb9348 (3966) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Crisp golden coloured body with a frothy white pale head about four centimetres tall and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, very light grassy hops and a bit of a granny smith apple smell - not much in it though. Light-bodied; Strong herbal flavours at first with a definite pear/apple taste soon afterward, all finishing with some alcohol notes, a bit of cardboard and some decent (not great) malt. Aftertaste shows some decent flavours - nothing bitter or offensive, but nothing terribly complex - just some light malt, a touch of grassiness and a decent amount of sugars. Overall, an acceptable beer - not great, but not bad at all - and for me, a nice beer to try from the opposite side of the Atlantic that I picked up and brought back home. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from System Bolaget in Stockholm, Sweden (near the Central Train Station) on 29-June-2012 for SEK13,30 with a best by date (on the bottom of the can) of 09 January 2013 sampled at home in Washington on 01-December-2012.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 rosenbergh (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 30, 2012
500 ml can. A. BB 18MAR13. (Systembolaget) Arjeplog, Sweden.
Clear pale golden colour with small fluffy white head.
Airy malty aroma with mild twist of fruits. Not bad actually.
Flavour is alcohol, malt, cereals and berries. Quite bad. With Bellman’s words: Sant va dä, ingen dricker.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rarbring (659) - Linköping, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2012
Aroma: Some malty sweetness, boiled sausages. Appearance: A light golden beer, a quickly receding white head leaving a little lacing. Taste: Mainly sweet nuances, a bit stale, white bread, a short bitterness at the end. Palate: Low carbonation, a rather smooth feeling and actually some body. Overall: An easy-to-drink beer if you just want to quench your thirst. Note: Can 500 ml. Reviewed 2010-03-08.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Gorgosh (151) - - SEP 28, 2012
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 womencantsail (6896) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Some grainy sweetness with a touch of bread, plenty of corn, and a mild biscuit aroma. A hint of yeast and some esters. Flavor is pretty much all grainy sweetness with a lot of corn along with (to a lesser extent) bread and biscuit. No bitterness and very little hop character. Pretty standard mediocre pale lager.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 dforsberg81 (21) - SWEDEN - AUG 17, 2012
A standard euro lager with a bit more alcohol than usual. Malty and pretty sweet. The taste of alcohol on the palate is a bit too dominating, which makes this one more suitable as a session beer. In a blind tasting I would put this one around 7-7,5%. After a few glasses however, the alcohol taste is not really disturbing. Grassy notes, quite strong carbonation. Very important to drink this one really cold.

Good and lovely malty aroma. Was a little suspicious of the level of alcohol and that it would taste like Carlsberg Elephant, but this brew is much better than that.
