djmcfar (64) - Ixonia, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 12, 2003
(64 oz growler - I live less than one mile from the brew-pub) relatively mild aroma for stout (yeasty and roasted malt) - large tan head, slowly diminishing; black color - good after-pour carbo - good lace; flavor does not follow aroma - very pleasant burnt carmel, coffee; smooth palate, lingering finish - 7.x ABV (will get the exact ABV from the brewer tomorrow) - all and all a great stout.
