But this is amber is not executed like I was hoping it would be. Little funky sweetness I can’t quite pin down. It is drinkable, but not as smooth as I would expect from an amber. Probably will not buy again. dutch23mp (177), Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2010 Aroma and pour is an average. Taste is a light bitter hoppy taste, very nice and above average well balanced. Medium on the palate with a long finish. Like most of Bell’s products above average. Teege (203), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 4, 2010 Draft at redlight redlight. pours a bright amber. not much going on in the nose. i mean, it is literally hard to smell. the flavor is not much bigger. bitter citrus hops come through for sure, but there is enough malt to make it extremely if not overly balanced and the sweetness comes through as much as the bitterness. Perhaps my rating is too low because i in no way dislike this beer. it is a crisp and not bad session beer. however, it is not complex and ultimately easily forgettable. highibus (461), Mill Creek, Washington, USA
