COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Bottle. Batch ID #6874. Packaged on: May 12, 2005. Pours a very cloudy, rusty orange with lots of little floaties and a thin, effervescent tan head. Crisp aroma of hay, caramel and nutmeg. High level of carbonation. Sweet caramelly body with some earthy hops and a hint of honey. A tad dry with a moderately bitter, sour and spicy finish.

Solid amber. Thick, lacy head, rich, malty aroma. Just enough hop to prevent cloying sweetness,ie., well-balanced. Nice drinkable beer.

I think I have old bottles. Not spoiled, just slightly tinny and oxidized... but then a couple of them havenít had such a strong presence of that stale taste. Overall this is a light, crisp but sour amber ale, with light flavors of honey, triscut crackers, copper and tin flavors and a smell of raw corn (like a corn field) and other grains.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2006 Pours deep golden brown with short lasting white head. Aroma is piney, earthy hops, caramel malts and slightly yeasty. Flavor is initially of hops and nicely balances the sweet malt finish. Not very complex, but itís crisp and refreshing. A nice summer beer.

Fairly clear golden brown color, big head that dissolves away with a few swigs. Pleasant Sweet Aroma - not strong. Starts out tasting good, hoppy nutty, leaves a slight bitter tastte in your mouth but goes away quick. It tastes like its fairly strong alcohol wise.

Mild, soapy, floral, sweet, grassy, herbal hop nose. Clear copper coloured body is topped by low white head that recedes to ring with some lace. Floral and earthy hop character to the sweet, malty flavour with some honey-like notes and moderate finishing bitterness. Medium body with fine-bubbled, gently prickly effervescence. Bottle sampled with muzzlehatch, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere.

Good balance of malt and hops but flavor isnít quite where Iíd like it to be. Cloudy amber in color with a bunch of sediment on the bottom of the glass - unfiltered, I presume. Nice, slightly sweet aroma.

Poured a dark honey color, or urine when severely dehydrated. 3-finger head rapidly dissipated. Sweet smell, a little wheaty, and stales as time goes on. Mostly caramelly malts, over sweet, only the faintest hint of any hops. Two sweet for my tastes. Easy drinking - not really offensive, just middle-of the road.

Nice off white head. Copper color with some slight cloudiness. A different style amber ale if one is thinking Killian. A good beer from start to finish. Try it
