COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Deep amber color. Nutty, crisp hop aroma. Flavor is grassy hops, nuts, fruit notes. Fresh finish.

Poured from a bottle straight into a globe glass results results in a medium head that quickly diminishes into nothing with very little lace. The taste and mouthfeel are typical of what you’d expect from a pale ale, although a little heavy on the hops. I’m certainly no fan of the "extreme hops" trend but this beer is still tolerable and enjoyable.

12 oz poured into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear amber color with a medium off white head. Little retention. Aromas of carmels and malts. Nice sweet malty taste throughout. Not much hop character. Easy drinkability. A nice beer.

Bottle pours amber with a white head. Aroma shows sweet grain, caramel, and a hint of strawberry and maybe some passion fruit. Flavor shows the same and is quickly followed up by some grassy hops. Overall body is light as well as the bitterness.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head, spotty lacing. nose is big caramel, clean grain, but where are the hops? Letting it warm up is no help, and the beer isn’t stale judging by the batch number on the back, it just lacks any hop aroma whatsoever. Nose reminds me strikingly of red cough syrup. Flavours are better, some bitterness comes in to balance it, red fruit, caramel, little else. For Bell’s this is a surprisingly weak and shameful effort.

cloudy amber color with a small disspaearing white foam. Caramel, crackers, cookies, burnt caramel, soap and spicy hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel, nuts, cookies and grass. Medium-bitter finish of burnt caramel, grass and mild citrousy hops.
