COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Nice thick head and lace that lasts to the bottom of the glass. Cloudy orange color. Nice blending of malt and hop bitterness.Fairly thick consistancy. Overall a very nice brew.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2007 A fairly light, crisp, and refreshing offering from Bells. This one is nice, but would be much more suited to a summer’s day than when I currently find myself sampling it. Still, this one is slightly sweet in flavor, and goes down fairly easy. RERATE: Tried this one again on draft at a "Ned Kelly’s Steakhouse" which is apparently Illinois’s solution to Outback, and it was a TOTALLY different experience. The flavor was much more full, without losing that refreshing aspect. Find this one of draft for a really nice amber!

On tap: This has a sweet malty aroma and a touch of hops. Flavor is well balanced and moderately bitter. The fullest bodied amber I've had. Very enjoyable, even by someone who doesn't care for the style.

Sweet to the touch. I had to take a pause after I took my first sip. I was drinking Birra Moretti before this and was not expecting it to come along so brutishly. Ripping and tearing apart my taste buds like a box of sour patch kids mixed with rusty nails. Not bad, not bad at all.

This is a classic session beer. It has enough malts to provide a slightly sweet flavor. But it is hopped well enough to be balanced. A touch of fruitiness makes it a grand beer experience.

She appears dirty...which I like..She gives excellent head and maintains her dirty lace. Taste is very citrusy.

More of a honey color than amber. Decent head. Malt/orange aroma. A malty/ earthy/ slight citrus flavor, very pleasant. There is a surprising amount of sediment in this beer, for an amber, but not unexpected for a bottled Bells, which I like.

Not bad for an amber. Not my style. Had worse had better. This was my first Bells product and have a few other choices to go. Hopefully they are just as good or better than this one.

Amber is not the first style I reach for, but a friend who I trust recommended it and I was not let down. As with all Bell's there is a fullness to this Amber that reclaims the style from the American "Red" beers. A wonderfully balanced malty sweetness followed by slightly barleywinish alchohol lift at the end.

Great looking pour, smooth taste. This is a great red, especially from a tap.
