COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Great looking pour, smooth taste. This is a great red, especially from a tap.

Clear copper color with full white head. Slightly sweet, fruity aromas and taste. Mild hops. I can see myself keeping this one in the fridge for macro drinkers, or more sophisticated tasters alike. Good, but accessible.

Nice copper color with a thick head and great bubbles. There is a very sweet, malty aroma a good body--I’m not a fan of ambers because they tend to be watery "popular" beers for many breweries, but I like this one a lot. Fruity and a restrained hop profile.

A wonderful beer, that is my favorite "session" beer. Flavors of chocolate, caramel, citrus and floral blend to make a great tasting product. May I have another?

nice orange/amber body with a big white lumpy head. Pleasant mild hop aroma, hints of yeast and toasted malts. same in taste, a bit more perfumey as it warmed. Well drawn out finish with fruity floral undertones.

Draft. Rated in a smoky bar, when tired and more than a bit buzzed, so not ideal; but this is a rich, characterful amber, with a wonderfully complex, creamy, sweet/bitter mouthfeel, well above average in its style.

color is copper and very cloudy. head is decent but not huge and leaves behind some sheeting. aroma is strong on the malts, but i was surprised to get a whiff of the hops this baby has to back it up! i would say this beer is dominated slightly by the malts, but the hops really come through in the finish. normally i tend to steer clear of amber ales, because i dont like the word "amber", however, i have seen the error in my ways.

nice color and a good white head. aroma is distantly fruity and a little faintly alcohol, not altogether pleasant. palate is predominantly hopped, bitter aftertaste with high carbonation. The palate is complex for an amber, lacks the usual caramel flavors and has no sweetness. Bitterness is more reminiscent of an IPA. This is a good, drinkable beer, but not one I buy again. Judging from the other comments, the draft variety is a different animal than the one from the bottle and I would like to try that one.

Nice head that stays for a while. Malty beginnning that finishes quite bitter for an amber. Much sweeter and more well rounded on draught, as are all offerings from K-zoo brewery.
