why do we need an amber ale form Bell’s? This is just mindblowingly run of the mill.

Not much aroma, head or carbonation on this one. Consistency is pretty thin.
Tastes sweet and caramel, otherwise just tastes like a normal ale with no bitterness. Nice caramel color, otherwise not too much notable or any overwhelming character.

Received in trade from TexIndy, Thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a cloudy copper with a bubbly white head that shows some staying power. Smells of caramel and dough, mild citrus hops in the background. Taste has much of the same with a more pronounced hop bite. Sweet malts mix up a grainy, caramel, bready taste. Citrus Herbal hops play a supporting role. Sweet sticky syrupy in the mouth, medium body crisp carbonation. Good little session ale, nothing spectacular, but definitely drinkable.

On tap. Pours a light golden amber with a creamy off White head. Aroma of sweet caramel and a nice soft fruitiness. A touch nutty with a nice sweet bread note. Flavor starts with a touch of sweet caramel candy characteristics. Picks up a biscuit doughiness before a sweet fruit and grAiny finish and just a tiny bitterness. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not bad, a decent Amber though I never loved the style.

Very unfiltered and easy to drink. Not the most flavorful ale out there but still a decent ale.

Aroma is cerealy goldfish cracker; Appearance is amber orange with the allusion of the milkyway with the floaters... really a pleasurable look; Taste is smooth and medium light with a thin soft finish... overall, a very drinkable beer in a bar bottle and great blue heron label... I would buy it again.

Amber color poured from the bottle. Cream to tan head with some lacing on the pint glass. A bit of unfiltered stuff floating around. Some grapefruit and salted fig on the nose with a touch of metallics. Nice malty presence with some fruit flavors & buttered sourdough giving an almost honey mustard balance between the sweet malts and hops. Finishes with a bittersweet medium mouthfeel. Honey mustard salty pretzel is the best overall description I can think of but certainly not cloying with the sweetness.

Poured a nice amber with a fairly large, frothy head with some lacing. Nice bitter hop and sweet malt balance. A well made brew.
