balance is about 60/40 bitter/sweet. A good brew, but more assertive than is typical for the style.

Aroma - kind of that lager aroma. Light malty taste, just a bit of bitterness. Dark copper color. OK, but nothing special for me. Could be a good session beer, but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Pours a copper color with a thin creamy head that dissappates quickly. The aroma contains some nice toasted biscuits, light hops, and a light sweet fruitiness. The flavor profile is basic, but very good per the style. A nice biscuit flavor is predominate and some decent cereal grains follow. The finish is lightly tart and dry. Very nice amber.

Sample at Bell’s brewery at Eccentric Cafe. Looks amber color, smells carmel, hoppy. Tastes like a mild ale. Thin head, no lace, thin ring. No session brew. Pairs well with a heavy beef, pork roast dish. I wouldn’t drink it on its own. Would have again..

Pours a nice amber brown color. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Nice tasty balanced beer. Bell’s even knocks an amber out of the park.

Very nice amber, copper color showing some orange hues. Substantial off white head that hung around for a bit and left a solid amount of lacing. Mostly clear body. Attractive caramel malt pulling its way to the front of the nose. I’m also detecting a bit of a peach smell. Seems to be a bit more fruity in the hops department than most Ambers I have encountered. Nice and well balanced in the nose. Malty at first in the taste, but gives way to the fruit kick. The malt does lead the charge in the taste however. A nice stab of the alcohol comes in at the end and brings a bit of the warmth and toastiness. Seems to me to be a little thin on the mouthfeel, but it does finish rather dry and crisp. Coats the throat and tongue delicately. This, all in all, is not a bad little brew. Nice bit of warmth at the end. The beer looks great and is very enticing. I’m glad I gave it a try. It’s a brew that I wouldn’t have a bit of trouble quaffing for an evening.

Deep coppery amber color. This is a very sweet malt flavored amber ale. There is a hoppiness to it that balances out, so you are not overly confronted by the sweetness, but the caramel and fruitiness are there in a smoothly strong taste.

Amber / light brown color with small white, frothy head. Has a slight caramel smell & taste to it. Bitterness is just right and does not linger.
