COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

12oz bottle at the American styles tasting. Lightly hazy amber with a white head. Grape, iced tea, light grassy hops and caramel malt in the aroma. Caramel, tea, fruity sweetness and a decent bitterness in the flavor. Feels like mostly early hops, and the bitterness is surprisingly dominant over the caramel by the finish. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Not a great amber but well made.

(12oz bottle). Pours....amber with off-white head. Aroma of bread, hay and mild cheese. Taste is sweet-ish with a little sourness. Light to medium bodied with thin/creamy texture. Finish is smooth.

A disapointing brew. Not much caramel/malliard malt flavor, an unexiting hop profile, and lots of minerality.

Bottle thanks to drowland. Pours reddish amber. Nose of spruce, malt and lager. Taste of lager malts, spruce and maple. Light fruits.

12oz bottle thanks to Ryan011235 on BA. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber color with a decently-formed off-white, yellowish head. The aroma is lots of caramel, slight toast, and citrusy hops. Smells very nice. The flavor is pretty well-done but not elite for the style. Caramel and toffee malt notes, with a little toast and biscuit, as well as some butterscotch. Citrusy hops add an average bitterness level to it. Medium-bodied and dry with a good level of carbonation. Good but not excellent for the style. Maybe I wasn’t in much of a drinking mood at the time, but I didn’t really want more of this after finishing the bottle.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass. Appearance: Pours a hazy medium copper with a 2 finger bubbly white head. Lots of sediment floating around. Decent lacing throughout. Smell: Sweet caramel malt with a hint of floral and citrus hops. Taste: Sweet citrus up front followed by caramel in the middle and toasted malt with just a hint of hops at the finish. Mildly bitter, dry and smoky aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a high amount of carbonation. Drinkability: Very high drinkability. You could knock back several of these without any problem. Overall: Very good beer overall and one of the best I’ve had in the style. I would definitely recommend it. Another solid offering from Bell’s.

12 oz. bottle: Pours a reddish amber with a large white head. Aroma is fairly unpleasant with yeast and leaves present. Overall flavor is rich but leaves an aftertaste that was unplesant.

Cask at Churchkey. Amber color (I would hope so), thick off white head, solid lacing. Subtle caramel aroma and a taste of smooth butterscotch balanced with a late subtle hoppiness. Decent.
