COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

The flagship beer of a top ten brewery. It is a little above average. Great reddish, brown color. Not a good start but a good finish. Give it s a shot, and then go straight to Bell’s Oberon or Bell’s Hopslam!!!

Appears a copper color with a moderately small off white head. Very hazy. High carbonation. The first hint of the nose is a citrus scent, surprising expecting the advertised malt to jump out. A little agitation gets some of the sweeter caramel scent. Very nice. Taste..Very very good. A great balanced drink that doesn’t equate balance with weakness. There is definitely some hop and malt action here. Begins sweet and ends bitter, with a citrus aftertaste. Mouth is appropriate. Relatively thin bodied and relatively high carbon. Drinkability is very good, this is one of my favorite of this style and if I am in the market for an American Amber, I would go here.

On tap in a pint glass. Pours amber (go figure!) with a small white head that sticks a bit. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy for an amber, and so is the flavor. The flavor is like hoppy caramel biscuits - a welcome change for an amber. Light body and somewhat high carbonation.

Great session beer. Malt sweet with a nice clean finish a little thin but a good match for the ABV and style. Very drinkable great party/summer beer. One of the beer ambers i have had in a while not that I drink them many

Pours red-amber with tall foamy head. Lots of floating sediment. Aroma of yeasty hops, bread dough and caramel. Taste is clean hops, sweet malt with hints of caramel and rye bread. Medium bodied. Very good Amber.

Call it a slightly darker version of Bell’s own Oberon. Pale orange color defies its heady easy drinking flavor.

On tap. Pours a deep amber color with a medium sized creamy tope head. Toast, soap, unbaked bread and yeast, dirt, and some back end caramel. Serviceable but lacking any point of real differentiation.

Bottle pours clear amber with thin white head. Aroma is malt and bread. First taste is sweet malt with nice hops balance. Finish is sweet. Not strong on hops but really like this one. Way better than Fat Tire.
