COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

12 oz. bottle that I received as a gift from my wife. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate linen white head that lasted through two-thirds of the glass and laced the glass well. The aroma is non-existent. Perhaps there is the occasional molecule of caramel that wanders into the nose, but that is it. The flavor is not that much more forthright than the aroma. Weak caramel followed by some bland, mildly bitter hops at the finish. Disappointing.

Tap at MSP airport. Pale amber beer with a nice tight white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with a nice fresh crackery/caramelly maltiness. Pretty nice chewy sweetness. There is a light noble sweetness on the back. Quite vienna-ish, despite it being an ale. Good balance of spicy hops and sweet malts.

Comes out of the tap a hazy dark honey-amber with a thin but fine-bubbled off-white head. Appetizing malty aroma has fruity and hoppy hints. Thick, malty flavor has a hoppy undertone and a touch of banana. Texture is thick, smooth and fizzy. Definitely worth seeking.

Hay & dirt. Tastes like some adjuncts. Surprisingly tastes like poor ingredients-I don’t that is the case though as this is Bells. Some malty sweetness. Slightly nutty. Kinda fruity. Dries out a little bit. Pretty average. Slight alcoholic kick in the finish.
