A little more robust than the average amber. Malty of course, but then leaves some yeast and fruity sweetness lingering after. Rich, good, but not my favorite style.

Cloudy orange amber pour with a healthy off white head. Fruity aroma with nice floral hop touch...it is what it is...

Greens now has Bells. Picked up at the Ponce De Leon location. Nice caramel brown with a silght orange hue. Decent head sits on top. The head almost completely fades away, but there is some left to give it a good look. Translucent. Great balance between the subtle hops, and malt sweetness. Actually a very nice fruity aroma. Pretty ncie aroma I must say. Very fruity/malt taste. Has a decent bittering hop at the end and flows into an almost a weird malt taste. Palate is smooth, but not exceptional. Overall, decent brew. I wish Greens, or our distributors would have purchased Hopslam, or Two Hearted instead. This is a good amber, but for Bells it is not their best.

murky orange/amber under a large creamy beige head. peachy, fruity, hop aroma. soft hoppy flavors without the citric bite. maybe some melon or mango flavors with plenty of malt. well balanced. creamy smooth palate.

This one got lost in the shuffle of all the beers I tasted at beerfest. Better luck next time.

Deep amber colored pour, smooth and complex flavor, excellent grain / hops balance. This is less intense than many of the Bell’s offerings, but is nonetheless superb.

Overall Impression:
I’m updating this rating from the draft I had last night. I think the score needs to go up a drop, as this is really a nice amber ale. It has some nice caramel, spice, and hops. Everything together leads to a nice beer.
I had a previously record rating of 3.2 that lacked any useful tasting notes.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JFURYCAT (990) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 12, 2009
Not that bad.Not spectacular but it makes for a decent amber given the stigma the macros have given the label. Some caramel in the malt with some hoppy bitterness on top. It is a bit unbalanced between malts and hops though so I get a slight bittersweet after-flavor.
