Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. The label has a packaged on date and an abv of 5.8%. Appearance: The body has a dark brownish amber color with a light haze and a creamy tall light tan head on top. It’s head fades slow and makes nice lacing on the glass. Smell: I get some sweet maltiness and doughy bready notes. I also pick up a slight orange rind note from the hops. Taste / Palate: This one has light and balanced mix of sweet bready maltiness and orange rind like hop bitterness. The feel is fairly light and softly carbonated.

From tap, pours a nice copper color with little head. Taste is sweet caramel malt, nutty, with a little hop kick before finish. As expected, but a decent example of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, poured into a shaker. The aroma is a sharp berry note that fades and reveals caramel, nuts, wood, and light citrus. The beer is clear with (go figure) and amber hue, and is topped by a dense, white head that has moderate retention, but very little lace. The taste is a medium sweet with a subtle, medium light bitter. The texture is oily, with fizzy carbonation and a light body. Flavors of grain, caramel, bitter citrus, and bread crust emerge first, and finishes crisp with woody notes, as well as coffee, subtle citrus, and light nuts. The aftertaste is lightly sticky with bitter citrus, rye bread crust, and a light medicinal lingering.

Bottle. Grassy malt aroma with some caramel malt sweetness. Pours amber colored with a large tan head with good retention and lacing. Starts with good grassy malt flavors with a smooth refreshing mouthfeel. Finishes equally smooth with sweet caramel malt mixed is in with the grass. Good, refreshing amber.

Tasted at Kansas City Beerfest at Union Station October, 2015. I had so many that this rating might be a bit off. ;)

cloudy amber with slight head. Medium carbonation. Smooth balance or malt and hops with a bit of a floral hint. Nothing really stands out. Not a crisp beer but an easy drinker.

Hazy copper colored with no head. Smells of pine and biscuit. Taste is slightly sweet with caramel malt and plenty of grassy hops on the finish. A decent brew but a little boring.
