3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a brown colored body and leaves a moderately sized white head that lasts for about thirty seconds. Nice spotty lacing appears and some light carbonation is seen rising.
The smell was sweet and has some light hops coming in as the beer warms.
The taste was basically the same with a dry malty aftertaste.
The palate was about a medium and had a dry finish.
Overall, this is a solid American Amber/Red Ale that I would have again.

Tap from Lazy Dog. Pours a transparent dark gold with a little bit of off white head. Aroma floralish hops and malts. Taste of pretty much the same.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle. Amber with one finger head. Aboverage amber with caramel malt and some light hops. Well balanced. I donít really dig this style, but this is an exception.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber colour. Muted aroma but there is some floral hops and caramel with a hint of roast. Medium body, watery mid-palate and a slightly bitter finish. I find this not overly enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Brick red color, not much head. Had a sticky palate. Earthy malts as expected. The hops are bitter and woody, but not overwhelming. The woody hops float above the glass and then linger in the aftertaste. Amber isnít my favorite style but this one has enough hop balance to do it right.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle poured into a pint. The pour is an iteration of an amber color. It seems a little darker with a medium slightly off white head that fades down to a ring, leaving sporadic lace. The aroma is sweet. You definitely get the malts up front, and it's a little bready on the nose. The flavor is just as light and sweet. The caramel malts are very prevalent. The mouth feel is thin, watery, but the aftertaste does hang around a little bit, which is nice

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Color is a amber/caramel which is hazy. and pours a big off white head, lacing is ok. Aroma is sweet, fruity, herbal, and a little floral. very sweet up front but finishes a little bitter, nice contrast. has a nice carbonated feel on the tongue. nice flavors but could be a little more prominent. Try it if you see it but donít run out to grab a six pack right this second.
