COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Pours a hazy globule filled amber with a whispy off white head. Light impermanent lacing. Aroma is faint citrusy hops. Flavor is a bit sweet, floral with a mild dry bitter finish. Medium bodied, just ok, but then again I’m not a huge fan of ambers. I enjoyed their offering under the Kalamazoo name more.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a very hazy orangeish amber color with a medium head. Excellent head retention and lacing. Malty aroma with citrus hop notes. Very fruity taste with citrus and pineapple notes. Some grainy malts as well. Full bodied.

12oz bottle brought back from Florida. Crisp, carmel taste. roasty malts and sweet. Pours a deep hazy amber with thin head. Nice amber but too much on the sour-malt vein for me

bottle, batch 8772. One of the Ambers Ive had in awhile. these have been overfiltered a lot lately, so Im surprised to see it so murky. Good sweet malt and grain combo, keeping the palate a little syrupy. This bottle has renewed my faith in Bells Amber, but yet not so much to make me want more. Good enough.

Pours hazy copper color with off white head. Sweet caramel aroma and flavor with slight bitterness and nutty taste. Medium body with average carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. Not a beer that will blow you away, but a great sessionable brew.

Bottle by trade. (Just in case someone out there is a distributor, we need distribution for Bells in CA.) This beer is a hoppier version of the typical Amber I’ve come across. There was a nice malt backbone to round out the palate and thicken the taste. Excellent carbination and flavor in general. Good beer!
