COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Bottled. Thanks pailhead. Pours a cloudy....amber with some orangish hints in it. Cloudy with a small white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is of very bready malts. Grainy and doughy and slightly sweet and yeasty. No hops in the nose. Flavor was sweet upfront of caramel and cereal grains, definitely a malt monster with a bit of malty nuttiness. Slight hop bitterness and earthy hops, possibly UK hops with maybe a tinge of grapefruit. Ester profile is moderate but gives just enough fruity balance. Finishes moderate dry. Body was quite full, especially for an amber; goes down smooth and easily with adequate carbonation. Great session beer. Solid but not ’blow-you-out-of-the-water’ like some other Bell’s.

Bottle. Hazy amber with thin white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is caramel and something savory I can’t put my finger on. Medium mouthfeel and light carb. Not my favorite.

Bottle. Clear light brown. Carmel up front, nothing special but decent. Clean mouthfeel.

"wish list cross-off from pfoxyjohn. unfortunately, i was a little underwhelmed by this one. not expecting greatness, but hoping for a favorite or near favorite for the style. pours a murky amber with a nice looking head. flavor is mostly malt, as is the flavor, and just wasn’t complex, bright, or hoppy enough to do much for me. not bad, but i’ve had much better in the style. 1st disappointment from Kalamazoo

Draft at Milkboy. Hazy mediium-darkish orange with a just off-white head. Fairly juicy citrus amber. Orange pips, juice and peels. Tanned leather sandals. Bell peppers. Starfruit. Persimmon. Heirloom tomatoes. Paprika. Bit bizarre.

Good and solid but nothing outstanding. Is pleasantly similar to Sierra Nevada. Too carbonated for me but so are most American ales.

I am a big amber ale and ale fan. This offering is good, it's just not my favorite. I prefer Left Hand's All American Ale, but this Bells can do the job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not the best I've had from bells. More bitter than I expected and almost flat. I dobt I got a bad beer as it was fresh from the store but just didn't taste quite right ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Deep amber orange color. Small creamy beige head. Subtle toasted malt nose. Notes of bready and grassy hops. Sweet toasted malt flavor has a touch of brown sugar and pecans. Finishes spicy with faint resiny hops. Medium bodied and nicely balanced.

Ahh i still remember fighting with the wedding planner that this was a light beer. Aroma has hints of citrus but mostly malty. Nothing amazing but solid for the style. For the style looks great... Mostly because it’s not Amber colored. More like a pumpkin Taste is malty yeasty. Slightest hint of hops. Subtle citrus notes. Plate is medium medium minus body. Finish is medium... Malty. Carbonation is medium medium plus. Not aggressive. The best Amber I’ve had for sure. This isn’t anything special but for the style a great beer. Perfect for any occasion really.
