Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Id say this beer meets the bjcp stlye guidlines for american amber, but lacks some complexty and finishish a little sweet and lacks hop aroma. I think its a little under attinuated. a bit too syrupy but not bad, ilike it better than the obern.

Great golden brown color. First taste moves you but the second taste engulfs you. There is a great malty fruit flavor. A great beer you can have all evening and not worry about the reprocusions in the morning. This beer especially goes well with a nice American burger. Cheers

12oz bottle. This amber came highly recommended and I understand why. A very enjoyable ale! Off white head, golden tone. Sweet malty initial and mid taste. An almost fruit like finish. Very palletable!

Nice head that stays for a while. Malty beginnning that finishes quite bitter for an amber. Much sweeter and more well rounded on draught, as are all offerings from K-zoo brewery.

Bought from a local party store. A sour yeasty, with slight hint of hops smell. Flavor starts with an initial sour, almost bread like in character, then finishes with a malty, almost marzen flavor. Not a bad beer. Amber in color, not much head. Also, there were yeast particles floating around as well, with a layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. I’m not much for amber ales, but this one is drinkable.

had it on tap at a sweet jazz club in chi-town. This beer has a nice color, a good aroma and a wonderful flavor. Very well balanced.

Tasty amber with some unique characteristics for the style. It seems all of Bell’s products have just a slightly different taste that I can’t quite put my finger on. Great mouthfeel and a nice hint of mildly roasty sweetness with a good dose of hops to finish.

This is a great beer. It seems to have a good blend of hops to give it a very good taste, with an aroma that is excellent. I would have to say one of the best beers that i have had i would suggest it to anyone.
