COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Smooth as a baby’s bottom. A perfect amber color with a very refreshing finish.

While the beer had nice malty flavors when I first sipped it, I continually felt that it was lacking the oompf that would make this beer memorable.

A nice amber yet it still has a bit of bite I would drink it regularly if it was the only bells I could get.

I went to Kalamazoo College years ago and have fond memories of this beer, which unfortunately is unavailable in New York City. I get it every time I visit Michigan, and I still think it’s one of the best amber ales made anywhere. Just super-tasty.

On tap at the Monk. Nice session beer. Color is a nice amber orange with a slight haze. Aroma is of malt with some carmel notes. Taste is malty and sweet with little hop bitternes. Overall a decant amber, a good way to start the night.

color is a dark cloudy orange great looking beer. Flavor tasts a little sweet, but is a little too hoppy for me at the end. aroma is a little weak. smooth full texture. good beer but A little too much hop for me, but I tend to like very little hop.
