3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2013 Another really good session beer from Bells. This will probably be one of my session beers from now on. What does it taste like? It taste like a regular beer should. If a macro brewery could produce this cheaply, the micro breweries would go out of business. I’m glad they can’t, just means more of a selection for us.

Pours very dark brown with a thin tan foam head. Fades to just some lacing on surface.
Smells of roasted malt and coffee. A tart cherry aroma is present.
Tart and acidic are the first thing I get from a deep drink. Cherry flavor is sutle and not as strong as one would think.
There is a nice roasted maltiness that balances out nicely with the tart cherries.
medium mouth feel and acidic aftertaste.
A little to tart for me to drink many. I would drink another

Pour is cloudy amber orange with a nice foamy white head. Aroma ensembles fresh baked bread and citrus. Taste is slightly bitter and breads with a smooth finish that leaves a strong bitterness. As far as ambers, I have certainly had better.

I really prefer IPAs and Stouts but one of the better ales that I’ve had. Nice malt with touch of caramel flavors.

Realizing that I am not as much an amber fan as I thought I was. Solid brew from a fantastic brewery.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy copper. Taste on the nose is malt followed by a nice citrus follow. Tastes more like an APA then a amber ale. It's good as an APA.

Des malts caramélisé délicatement, des houblons humides dans un corps croustillant teinté d’un minuscule sucre résiduel.
