COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

draft. Hoppy citrus aroma. Light burnt orange appearance with no head. Almost no malt flavor with the dominance of hops. light bodied with lots of carb feel and a slight malt feel and a balance of hops from start to finish. Didnt care for this beer much.

Bottle. Pours with a white foamy head that laces well. Dark amber with a slight haze. The aroma has some heave coffee notes. Medium body with a flat finish, the extra hops are evident.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2006 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy dark amber color with a large yellow-tan head. The aroma is lightly fruity and yeasty. The flavor is lightly fruity with moderate malts and a yeasty undertone. There is a bitter finish. A rather plain amber ale.

What a really nice beer. Crisp, and slightly malty. A little sweetness. Nice aroma with a trace of maltyness. I find it to be one of the more pleasant beers in this style.

Large off-white head. Minimal carbonation. Lots of small floaters in there also. Malty and roasted grain aroma with some light vanilla. Color is a hazy medium amber. Light flavor with a little bit of fruit and malts. Pretty bland. Finish is a little on the creamy side with some more malts. Really nothing special with this one. I need a damn belgian after all of the mediocre brews.

[394-20070702] 355mL (w/ jerc). Wheaty malt and toasted straw yeast aroma with a hint of fruit, apple if anything. Slightly hazy, dark orange body with a long-lasting thin creamy white head. Grainy vegetable alcohol flavour with toasted yeast. Light-medium body. Not impressive, something funky there.

Really, I’m not that all crazy about Amber beers. Strong flavor, almost like well water as it tastes like iron. Not bad but I’d prefer to spend my money on some of their other concoctions.

Cloudy orange with medium off-white head. Citrus hoppy aroma, very fresh. Distinctly hoppy flavor that’s unexpected for an amber. But there’s a lot of sweetness, too much so.
