COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from mostly pale malt and some Munich and caramel malts. These add a little sweetness, which is balanced by more hops. The result is a rich color and fruity flavor.

Cloudy amber pour with nice head, decent legs. Nice aroma and very smooth mouth feel. This beer has a very well balanced flavor and is an excellent choice for an amber. One of my personal favorites. I heartily recommend Bell’s Amber.

Appearance: Slightly hazy medium brown body, coarse tan head. Smell: Sweet malt with some citrusy hop aroma and a bit of caramel. Taste: Starts out sweet, toasted malt; some earthy and yeasty notes in the background along with just a hint of diacetyl; nice medium hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, medium-high carbonation. Drinkability: Excellent example of the style. Full of flavour and well-balanced, easy to drink quite a few.

I actually liked this better than the "trendy" choice of many, Bells Oberon. Just the right amount of maltiness, spicy hops that don’t let you down, even tasted good only slightly chilled.,

Good times with Bells, this was probably my favorite of the ones I had this weekend. Its actually alot more like it’s Kalamazoo cousin than oberon was. Very yeasty and a touch of roasted flavor. Just sweet enough, and i would describe the whole feeling of it as soft. And thats good.

Across the board, this beer is just right, from the initially stridently peppery hop character to the soothing, mouthwatering finish, it is a classic. Economy of means makes it so--it’s like a beer version of a Graham Greene novel. It’s not the most aromatic beer, nor is the color irresistable, but the sum of the parts yields an utterly satisfying beer. It is a unique Amber Ale, which I agree with a previous reviewer, is a pretty boring category.

This was so Fucking GOOD!!! It tasted like a caramel sundae from McDonalds, I told Oakes I would put it up there with Celebrator as far as the level of goodness, and he called me a Blasphemer, but fuck him this shit is good!. $6 at Abraxas in Miami Beach. Daddy needs a six-pack.

A: Amber with a nice head and plenty of lacing. S: Sweet amber malts with a tiny bit of hop presence. T: Slightly buttery amber malt base. Very creamy. M: Like the taste, excellent creaminess to this one. Most of the ambers I have had fall well into the category of thin or creamy, and this is definitely of the latter category. Utterly brilliant. D: Excellent year-round offering from Bell’s--for the most part, Larry and the crew can simply do no wrong.

dark rich malts in the aroma. start is very sweet and full followed by an offset of the slightest bit of hoppy spice that is there but never quite breaks through the taste. Warm rich aftertaste. A very drinkable beer. Cheers!

Very well balanced with caramel and buttery taste. Just enough amount of hops. I will enjoy this beer everyday anytime of the day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Way better than George Killians. It has a more beer taste in comparison to lighter beers (but this is still a light beer.) The first taste had a high hop flavor with a sweet caramel/malt finish.
