marchcow (514), Coralville, Iowa, USA Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Malty light aroma. Golden brown with thick sustaining white head. Sweet malty flavor with light overriding bitterness. Slight fruity quality. Minimal carbonation and light mouthfeel. Gos well with food. Easy to drink. Lacks something.
stubby2 (1), , USA does not count Oct 13, 2008 Great copper color! Would of liked a better aroma. Nice sweet acidic taste that has a short aftertaste. Soft watery taste light chalky finish. Great everyday beer!
tsetlock (2), Livonia, Michigan, USA does not count Oct 13, 2008 Great amber pour. Light malty/citrus smell. Slightly acidic/citrus flavor. Soft watery taste light chalky finish. Great everyday beer! mattmc1973 (128), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Oct 11, 2008 On draft at a little dump of a bar in Chicago. Amber and caramel color, with frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, a little hops, and some light fruit (apples?). Taste of sweet malt and again the apples, a bit cider-ish. Light/medium body and quenching, with good carbonation. Pretty good! cblado (89), Wisconsin, USA Oct 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a caramel color with a nice off-white head. Aroma was malty, with some toffee notes as well. Flavor was similar, with toffee and sweet malt being the strongest aspects. I liked this a lot, very drinkable. bretupdegraff (101), Fishers, Indiana, USA Oct 9, 2008 Cloudy orange light brown pour - nicde offwhite head that left pretty quickly. Awesome mouthfeel - taste - nice balance of hops and malt - a little sweet but offset by the hops. Good drink but not awesome. Might be the flagship by Bells - but it is not my fav by them.
Very Drinkable - great prep for my #100.
