3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into my pint. Served at 45 degrees. The aroma was quite powerful and had a hay aroma with a touch of grass, fruit and flowers. Not my style but not bad. Poured a hazy light red with a huge light tan foamy head that left lots of lacing, flavor started sweet with fruity, peppery, grassy taste that finished with a long harsh bitter that was a bit too much for my taste. Body was medium with thin oily texture, very soft carbonation and as mentioned before a long bitter finish. Not my style of beer but I usually like what Bellís has to offer. I didn;t hate this beer, but I didn;t care all that much for it and wouldnít ever buy another. Not bad, just not good either.

Look: pours a dark Amber. White head. Minimal haze.
Smell: similar to a lager. Caramel sweet. Cracker or bread.
Taste: bitter on the back. Slight breadiness. Not overly sweet like the aroma. Pine. Onion.
Feel: medium carbonation. Not overly dry, just on the back end.
Overall: ok beer. Just not my style.

Draught. Clear amber color with medium beige spongy head, very little hops aroma, slightly sweet and spicy taste, medium finish with bitter aftertaste. Reminded me of an ESB.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 fl oz bottle. Pours well, amber, and hazy with a quite a bit of sediment floaters, and a light creme coloured head. Aromas are light, but mostly caramel, and almost pilsener like straw heavy malt notes. Fuller bodied than I was expecting it starts with caramel, light resinous hops, mineral notes, and light floral notes that lead into a hefty amount of woody/toasty malt notes, and light sweetness thatís balanced out with light metallic/resinous hopping. Super sessionable, and not overwhelming in any way. This here is a top notch six-pack beer.

Bottle. Hazy amber with thin white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is caramel and something savory I canít put my finger on. Medium mouthfeel and light carb. Not my favorite.

"wish list cross-off from pfoxyjohn. unfortunately, i was a little underwhelmed by this one. not expecting greatness, but hoping for a favorite or near favorite for the style. pours a murky amber with a nice looking head. flavor is mostly malt, as is the flavor, and just wasnít complex, bright, or hoppy enough to do much for me. not bad, but iíve had much better in the style. 1st disappointment from Kalamazoo

Draft at Milkboy. Hazy mediium-darkish orange with a just off-white head. Fairly juicy citrus amber. Orange pips, juice and peels. Tanned leather sandals. Bell peppers. Starfruit. Persimmon. Heirloom tomatoes. Paprika. Bit bizarre.

Good and solid but nothing outstanding. Is pleasantly similar to Sierra Nevada. Too carbonated for me but so are most American ales.
