Bells Barrel 21

Fancy that, the first to rate something! On tap at the Eccentric Cafe 10/29/08. This one was described to me at the brewery as a barrel aged ’’cream of the crop’’ Wild One sour ale. Pours a wonderful red/amber, with a quickly dissipating head. medium carbonation, strong apple flavor, mild oak hints from the barrel, tart, sour and a little sweetness to it. A hint of citrus as well.Finishes a little dry. Fantastic take on the original, with more flavor. Going back for more tomorrow.
