12 oz bottle sampled thanks to drewbeerme. Damn. Why is this made only once. At a few years now, this is an amazing beer. Pours a dark brown with some red hints and no head. The aroma is beautiful raisins, plums, red fruit, chocolate, brown sugar, so complex. A full mouthfeel that’s creamy smooth with more raisins, plums, dark fruit, chocolate, oak, licorice, alcohol, this is too complex for my tastebuds to discern it all. Finishes with a little alcohol and bitterness. Amazing.

Pour is a dark brown almost molasses like. Aroma is is candy sugar with lots of dark fruits and toffee. Flavor is excellent with raisions, plums and brown sugar. Alcohol is there with a warming effect but does not overpower. A very tasty brew that aged extremly well. Much man love goes to Beerdrenched for this one.

Shared with sneagrams3, thegreenrooster & Beerdrenched - big thanks to Beerdrenched for supplying this hard to find gem. Pours dark brown with deep bronze hue with a rocky tan head. The aroma has toffee, candi sugar, ice cream malt and some alcohol warmth. Fully body that is slick and velvety with just a little carbonation. Taste is very rich toasted malts with dark candi sugar, brown sugar and alcohol warmth. The finish has even more warmth with a bit of woody hops. Very well aged beer for three years.

Columbus 2.0 shared by sliffy. Poured a dark brown with a small head. Had an aroma of breadiness, caramel and some very slight hops. Would have loved to try one fresh when it came out. Great barleywine.

Notes from pre noogfest. Thanks to kp and or goldtwins. A dark brown pour with an aroma of raisins and sweet malt. A flavor of rich sweet roasted malt with a very warm alcohol kicker. A creamy smooth palate. Another very good beer provided by the Ga. gang.

Had this at the last Columbus tasting, I think it was shared by Sliffy (apologies if this is wrong). Aroma was nice--sweet malt and some alcohol. Appearance was a very jet black color. Taste was full of roasted malt, and plenty of alcohol. A very good mouthfeel.

From the Columbus tasting shared by sliffy! Dark copper pour with a samll tan head. Thick aroma of carmelized sugar, dark fruits, perhaps some dark chocolate. The flavor had a good dose of caramel, some burnt malt, rasin and a bit of booze. Huge thick body with some damn smooth carbonation. Good stuff!

12 oz bottle thanks to sprinkle. Brown pour with not much head. Aromas of caramel and date, molassas and raisin. Lots of molassas and dark fruits on the flavor as well. Alcohol comes through quickly, around the middle. Then subtle hops on the finish and more aclohol. Very Very tasty. Thanks Mike!!!!!
